Installing your click-lock flooring

Step-by-step installation instructions

  1. Preparation:
    1. Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level.
    2. Acclimate the flooring planks to room temperature for 48 hours.
  2. Installation:
    1. Begin in a corner of the room, laying the first plank with the tongue side facing the wall.
    2. Use spacers to maintain an expansion gap around the perimeter.
    3. Click the next plank into place by aligning the tongue and groove and pressing down until it locks.
    4. Continue this process, staggering the seams for a natural look.
    5. Trim the last row of planks to fit, maintaining the expansion gap.
  3. Finishing:
    1. Remove spacers and install baseboards or mouldings to cover the expansion gap.
    2. Clean the floor to remove any installation debris.

  • Use the right tools: A rubber mallet, tapping block, and pull bar will make the installation easier.
  • Check each plank: Inspect each plank for defects before installation.
  • Follow the instructions: Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for specific guidelines.
